HELEZ AT THE BiH EMBASSY IN WASHINGTON; GOGANOVIĆ IN THE REPRESENTATIVE OFFICE OF SRPSKA: I'M GOING WHERE I'M WELCOME!

WASHINGTON, APRIL 26 /SRNA/ - The Minister of Defense and Deputy Minister of Defense in the Council of Ministers Zukan Helez and Aleksandar Goganović, who are on an official visit to the USA, visited different addresses, although they are part of the same delegation.

Helez visited the BiH Embassy in Washington and met the ambassador Sven Alkalaj, while Goganović bypassed the Embassy and visited the Representative Office of Republika Srpska.

Asked by SRNA to confirm this information, Goganović said that he goes where he feels welcome.

"The representative office of Republika Srpska legitimately represents the interests of Srpska in Washington and I have no problem with the Federation of BiH doing the same. However, when we talk about the Embassy of BiH, it should represent the interests of BiH and all three constituent nations, but in practice, we have an Embassy that represents the interests of certain individuals from political Sarajevo, which is unacceptable.

I was met at the airport by the military attache and his deputy. I believe that there is no need to meet with the ambassador who openly expresses hatred towards my people and Republika Srpska. Colleague Helez has the right to meet with whoever he wants, just as I have the same right," Goganović concluded.
