ISTOČNO SARAJEVO, JANUARY 15 /SRNA/ – Deputy Minister of Defense in the Council of Ministers Aleksandar Goganović has said that the statements made by Minister Zukan Helez are yet another indication of political nervousness and a lack of understanding of the processes that Republika Srpska is conducting calmly, responsibly, and in line with its constitutional capacities.

"Republika Srpska does not pursue politics of noise and empty threats, but one of wise and well-considered moves. The fact that political Sarajevo, together with Helez, does not understand these moves, is their problem. They will understand when the time comes," Goganović stressed for SRNA.

He explained to Helez that the return and renewed granting of the mandate to Prime Minister Savo Minić is not a sign of weakness, but of political maturity and determination to prevent any legal or institutional vacuum in Republika Srpska.

"While Sarajevo calls for crises, Republika Srpska safeguards peace, stability, institutions, and its people. Alongside SNSD President Milorad Dodik, we are continuing the fight for a stronger, more stable, and constitutionally positioned Srpska," Goganović said.

He underlined that Republika Srpska will not make decisions in order to please Sarajevo, but exclusively those that are in the interest of its citizens.

"Helez and those like him may issue politically irresponsible statements to the media, but the reality is that Srpska knows what it is doing and where it is headed," Goganović concluded.
