GOGANOVIĆ: BIASED BOSNIAK NATIONALIST HELEZ PUSHES FALSE NARRATIVE

SARAJEVO, DECEMBER 30 /SRNA/ – Statements by BIH’s Minister of Defense in the Council of Ministers Zukan Helez show that this hardline Bosniak nationalist continues to promote a false narrative and fuel tensions in the region instead of contributing to stability and regional cooperation, Deputy Minister of Defense Aleksandar Goganović has stated for SRNA.

According to Goganović, Helez’s remarks represent a continuation of anti-Serb rhetoric deliberately aimed at escalating tensions in the region.

"Instead of pursuing responsible policies and cooperation, Helez engages in unfounded attacks on the Republic of Serbia and its democratically elected leadership, despite lacking both credibility and relevance for such assessments," Goganović stressed.

He pointed out that Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has met with the world’s most influential leaders over the past year, which clearly demonstrates Serbia’s strong international standing and its important role on the global stage - unlike Helez, whose statements carry no international significance.

"Inflammatory rhetoric and insults cannot hide the fact that Serbia today represents a factor of stability and dialogue in the region. The stable Balkans means the secure Europe, and that clearly bothers those like Helez, whose political survival depends exclusively on division and conflict," Goganović said.
