GOGANOVIĆ AND AMBASSADOR TODOROV DISCUSS COOPERATION AND GLOBAL GEOPOLITICAL SITUATION

SARAJEVO, MARCH 3 /SRNA/ - Aleksandar Goganović, Deputy Minister of Defense in the Council of Ministers, and Ivan Todorov, Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to BiH, met today in Sarajevo to discuss possibilities for enhancing cooperation between the Ministries of Defense of BiH and the Republic of Serbia.

The interlocutors particularly emphasized the importance of educating cadets at the University of Defense of the Republic of Serbia and of providing professional training to members of the Armed Forces of BiH.

At the meeting, which was held at the Embassy of Serbia in BiH, the participants also discussed the global geopolitical situation, with particular reference to the crisis in the Middle East and its possible impact on the region.

Goganović once again emphasized the importance of good-neighborly cooperation, which contributes to the stability and security of the entire region.

Goganović and Todorov emphasized the importance of continuous exchange of views and of sending a clear message of peace and cooperation, noting that all challenges can be overcome through open and sincere communication.

In Ambassador Todorov's delegation were Defense Attaché Colonel Milan Dulanović and Attaché Radojica Pavlović, and the delegation of the Deputy Minister of Defense included Chief of Cabinet Aleksandar Nikolić, according to a statement from the Office of the Deputy Minister of Defense in the Council of Ministers.
