GAŠIĆ AND GOGANOVIĆ DISCUSS DEVELOPING COOPERATION IN THE INTEREST OF SERBIA AND BiH

GORNJI MILANOVAC, JULY 25 /SRNA/ - The Defense Minister of Serbia Bratislav Gašić met today in Gornji Milanovac with Deputy Minister of Defense in the Council of Ministers Aleksandar Goganović, to discuss the further development of cooperation in the field of defense.

Minister Gašić conveyed the commitment of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Serbia to continue developing defense cooperation with BiH, in the mutual interest of both sides.

They also discussed the possibilities and modalities for enhancing cooperation, particularly in the field of military education, as a key area of cooperation.

Deputy Minister of Defense Goganović thanked Minister Gašić for the invitation to attend today's ceremony in Takovo, as well as for the meeting and the opportunity to discuss topics of mutual interest.

The Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Army, General Milan Mojsilović, also attended the meeting.

Minister Gašić and Deputy Minister Goganović met following the ceremonial promotion of students from the 1,300 Corporals Secondary Military Vocational School and of second-class candidates from the NCO Course for civilians to the rank of sergeant, the Ministry of Defense of Serbia announced.
