DODIK: SNSD WILL NOT PARTICIPATE IN ANY STATE PROPERTY DISCUSSIONS

BANJA LUKA, NOVEMBER 9 /SRNA/ – The SNSD will not take part in any discussions on state property in the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, the party’s leader Milorad Dodik told SRNA.

“The property issue was definitively resolved by the Dayton Peace Agreement. We opposed Christian Schmidt, who wanted to centralize that property. It will not be centralized, and BiH will obviously fall apart over this issue, something we are clearly approaching,” Dodik said.

He pointed out that Darko Babalj from the SDS had received a bill on property and claimed that the SNSD was one to blame for something proposed by the Muslims from the Federation of BiH.

“Can you imagine that? We have no contact with them whatsoever, and yet he succumbed to it,” Dodik said.

He added that the SNSD had already stated its position on property and did not want the matter placed on the parliamentary agenda.

“As far as their documents go, they will not be on the agenda if you ask us. But, you Mr. Babalj, make sure that it doesn’t get there through your decision either. Apparently, he’s been talking to someone, and now they’re trying to create a story out of it,” Dodik said, reiterating that the SNSD would not participate in any property-related discussions.

Dodik emphasized that the SNSD is not against the original Dayton Peace Agreement, something that has been repeatedly stressed over the years, and pointed out that any change to it is only possible through the explicit consent of both entities.
