DODIK: MY APPEARANCE BEFORE COURT AND PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE WAS PURELY POLITICALLY MOTIVATED

BRATUNAC, JULY 5 /SRNA/ – Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik states his appearance before the Court and Prosecutor’s Office of BiH was purely politically motivated.

"You all know that the process was politically motivated and that the Court and Prosecutor’s Office of BiH are not provided for in the BiH Constitution, so my appearance there was purely politically motivated as well," Dodik told the press in Bratunac.

Yesterday, the Court of BiH issued a decision accepting the Prosecutor’s Office’s proposal to lift the detention order against Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik, which also canceled the arrest warrant the court had previously issued for him.

Detention was lifted because it was determined that the reasons for which it was initially ordered no longer exist.
