BiH - Presidency - extraordinary session

SARAJEVO, JUNE 19 /SRNA/ – The Presidency of BiH adopted a decision at today's extraordinary session on the temporary closure of the BiH embassies in the Islamic Republic of Iran (Tehran) and the State of Israel (Tel Aviv), SRNA has learned.
An urgent and temporary evacuation of staff from the embassies in Tehran and Tel Aviv has been ordered.
In the coming period, BiH’s political and diplomatic representation in Iran and Israel will be conducted from the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers in Sarajevo, while consular representation will be handled through diplomatic-consular missions in the Republic of Turkiye (Ankara and Istanbul), the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan (Amman), and the Arab Republic of Egypt (Cairo).
The BiH Presidency has tasked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Council of Ministers with implementing this decision, which comes into effect on the day of its adoption.
