EAST SARAJEVO, APRIL 27 /SRNA/ - You are not authorized to present the views of BiH, the Serbian member and Chairwoman of the Presidency, Željka Cvijanović, said in a message to the Bosniak member Denis Bećirović.
Cvijanović pointed out that the Presidency of BiH is responsible for this, and only when the votes of all three members of the Presidency are included in that position.
"Additionally, Bećirović is neither authorized nor invited to interpret the views of Republika Srpska, and the institutions and citizens of Republika Srpska, which makes up 49 percent of the territory of BiH, feel threatened by the constant efforts of political Sarajevo to privatize the joint institutions of BiH and impose the views and desires of Bosniak politicians on the representatives of other nations," emphasized Cvijanović.
When asked by SRNA about Bećirović's statement in which, among other things, he said that Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić is not authorized to interpret the laws of BiH, Cvijanović said that it is incredibly pathetic that, on a day when Serbia and Republika Srpska are commemorating the suffering of hundreds of thousands of victims in the Jasenovac death camp, the majority of whom were Serbs, the Bosniak member of the Presidency of BiH, as one of the three, believes he has the right to comment on the position of Republika Srpska, while neither the President of Republika Srpska nor the President of Serbia have such a right.
"This is yet another example of who is suffocating BiH," concluded Cvijanović.
