CVIJANOVIĆ MEETS WITH U.S. CONGRESS MEMBERS TO DISCUSS ILLEGAL AND UNDEMOCRATIC FOREIGN INTERVENTIONISM

WASHINGTON, MAY 22 /SRNA/ - Željka Cvijanović, the Serb Member and Chairwoman of the BiH Presidency, met in Washington with U.S. Republican Congress members Lauren Boebert and Brian Jack.

During separate meetings, Cvijanović emphasized that she has high expectations from the administration of current U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the reaffirmation of democracy, which she says is endangered in BiH by illegal and undemocratic foreign interventionism.

She deemed the abuse of the judiciary for the purpose of politically persecuting democratically elected leaders as unacceptable anywhere in the world, including BiH, where the President of Republika Srpska, Milorad Dodik, is being prosecuted solely for fulfilling his constitutionally mandated duties.
