CVIJANOVIĆ: COMPETENT INSTITUTIONS TO DEFINE SOLUTIONS FOR ELIMINATION OF IMPORT BURDENS ON GOODS FROM THE USA

EAST SARAJEVO, APRIL 3 /SRNA/ - Serb member and the Chairwoman of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović urged the competent institutions to, without delay, define solutions that would provide for the complete elimination of any import burdens on goods originating from the United States.

"We fully understand President Trump's determination to put America first and to safeguard the economic interests of his nation. I am convinced that by removing customs tariffs on imports of American goods, we would avert the announced imposition of reciprocal tariffs of 35 percent on products from Bosnia and Herzegovina - thereby preventing potential harm to our exporters who trade with the United States," Cvijanović emphasized.

Serb member and the Chairwoman of the Presidency pointed out that she was confident that such a measure would foster a more dynamic development of economic and trade relations, as well as broader cooperation with the United States and the new administration of President Trump, it was stated from the BiH Presidency.
