CVIJANOVIĆ: CELEBRATE RAMADAN EID WITH STRENGTHENING KINDNESS AND UNDERSTANDING

SARAJEVO, MARCH 29 /SRNA/ - Serb member and chairperson of the BiH Presidency Željka Cvijanović sent a greeting card to all Islamic believers in Republika Srpska and BiH on the occasion of Ramadan Eid with the wish to celebrate this great holiday in peace, happiness and well-being, together with their loved ones.

"May the coming holidays, after the month of Ramadan fasting, be of spiritual benefit and joy and strengthen the feeling of kindness, mutual understanding, respect and solidarity," the congratulatory message states.

Muslims in Bosnia and Herzegovina and around the world will celebrate tomorrow the first day of Eid al-Fitr, one of the two biggest Muslim holidays that comes after the month-long Ramadan fast.

Eid is celebrated for three days. The first day of Eid is spent with the family, the second day is spent visiting cemeteries, and the third day is reserved for socializing with friends and acquaintances.
