CVIJANOVIĆ CALLS FOR URGENT PRESIDENCY DECISION FOR BiH TO BECOME CO-SPONSOR OF BAHRAIN'S RESOLUTION SUBMITTED TO THE UN SECURITY COUNCIL

BANJA LUKA, MARCH 11 /SRNA/ - The Serb member of the Presidency of BiH Željka Cvijanović has requested that the Presidency urgently take a position on a proposal for BiH to become a co-sponsor of a resolution submitted to the United Nations Security Council by Bahrain on behalf of the Gulf Cooperation Council, condemning serious attacks by Iran on Gulf countries and calling for their immediate cessation.

The Serb member of the Presidency requested it in response to an invitation from the United Arab Emirates for BiH to join as a co-sponsor of the resolution.

All European countries have accepted the request to co-sponsor the resolution.
