SARAJEVO, OCTOBER 28 /SRNA/ - The Chairperson of the Council of Ministers Borjana Krišto said that imposed decisions by High Representatives concerning legislation in BiH should first be adopted by the Parliamentary Assembly, as a decision or law, before a procedure to amend them can be launched.
"Things are very clear there," Krišto told reporters in Sarajevo.
On the possible introduction of visas for citizens of countries that also require visas to enter the EU, Krišto said this falls under the remit of the relevant ministries within the Council of Ministers.
"I think there is room to reach consensus there, in line with what the EU has put before us," Krišto added.
She said the issue will be discussed once the ministries' proposals arrive, and a clear decision will then be known, but she could not say when that might happen.
Countries whose citizens need visas to enter the EU include Russia, China and Turkiye. EU candidate countries are required to align their visa policy with that of the EU.
