SARAJEVO, August 6 /SRNA/ - Head of the SNSD Caucus in the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Sanja Vulić stated that the BiH Central Election Commission /CEC/ is erasing, without hesitation, the will of the Serb people and Republika Srpska by revoking the mandate of Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik.
"Sitting in the CEC are so-called `Serbs` Vanja Bijelica-Prutina from SDS and Jovan Kalaba from PDP. They are international loyalists, not representatives of the people," Vulić told SRNA.
She said they are suited for a civic, unitary BiH.
"Their loyalty is not to Republika Srpska, but to Sarajevo," Vulić stressed.
The BiH Central Election Commission today issued a decision to terminate the mandate of Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik, which had been granted to him by the people in the 2022 general election.
The decision is not yet final, and an appeal is permitted.
The CEC made the decision after the Appellate Division of the BiH Court upheld an earlier first-instance ruling sentencing the President of Republika Srpska to one year in prison and six years of disqualification from political activity, for "disrespecting the decisions of Christian Schmidt".
