BANJA LUKA, MАY 10 /SRNA/ – President of the People's Party of Srpska /NPS/ Darko Banjac told SRNA that his party will participate in the meeting of all parliamentary parties at the BiH level, convened by Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik, because everything happening in BiH can only be resolved through agreement among the domestic actors elected by the people.
Banjac emphasized that impositions, the application of pressure, and the use of force do not lead to solutions and are contrary to both the BiH Constitution and the Dayton Peace Accords.
“If dialogue is refused, then the question arises of how a given situation can be resolved. If someone refuses to talk, they are, in a way, accepting the status quo,” Banjac said.
He believes that non-parliamentary parties and all political actors capable of contributing through dialogue should also be included in the discussions to help resolve the current situation.
Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik has invited the leaders of all parliamentary parties in BiH—both in government and in opposition—to meet on May 14 in Doboj, following messages delivered at the UN Security Council session that domestic politicians must find a way out of BiH’s constitutional-legal crisis.
