BELGRADE, MAY 4 /SRNA/ - Director of the Office for Public and Cultural Diplomacy of Serbia, Arnaud Gouillon, believes there would be no Serbs in BiH without Republika Srpska, and that attempts to remove the President of Srpska, Milorad Dodik, are a danger for one million Serbs in BiH, as well as for the Balkan region and Europe.

"We need to appeal to reason. This is what Serbia and President Aleksandar Vučić are doing, demanding that everyone return to reason, reminding them to respect international law and the Dayton Peace Agreement," Gouillon said.

He stressed for French media "Merta" that for several years, there have been Bosniaks’ tendencies on achieving political supremacy over the other two peoples by abolishing their competences.

"Republika Srpska is a victim of this attempt at centralization, i.e. the desire to abolish acquired rights through the abolition of various competences provided by the Dayton Peace Agreement," stated Gouillon.

The president of Republika Srpska, he added, opposes this dangerous tendency that creates enormous instability and reignites tensions in BiH.

Gouillon pointed out that the instrumentalization of the judiciary for political purposes is at work in BiH with the aim of harassing and subjugating Republika Srpska, which enables the Serbs to remain free and safe on their land.
