SARAJEVO, JULY 3 /SRNA/ – Srđan Amidžić, Minister of Finance and Treasury in the Council of Ministers, has stated today in Sarajevo that Republika Srpska has no issues regarding the current draft Reform Agenda and is not responsible for the slowdown of BiH’s European path.
"You know who and when blocked the Reform Agenda, you know how the Reform Plan stalled, and who vetoed the working group responsible for harmonizing the text of the Reform Agenda," Amidžić told the press.
Reminding that BiH’s European path is stalled because of four cantons in the Federation of BiH, Amidžić emphasized that he has no authority or means to go to those four cantons and demand they accept it.
Amidžić explained that the EU understands there are specific circumstances in every country regarding the implementation of the goals set out in the Reform Agenda and that these should not be interfered with, as that would mean deciding that the Reform Plan does not do.
"There is a certain level at which 97–98 percent of the goals will be acceptable to the EU," Amidžić stressed.
