ZHANG: RELATIONS BETWEEN MOSCOW AND BEIJING HAVE ENTERED THE BEST PERIOD IN HISTORY

KAZAN, AUGUST 18 /SRNA - RIA Novosti/ - Relations between Russia and China have entered the best period in their history, stated the Chinese Ambassador to Russia, Zhang Hanhui.

"Under the strategic leadership of Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin, relations between China and Russia have entered the best period in their history," Zhang said at the plenary session of the forum "Sprouts: Russia and China - Mutually Beneficial Cooperation".

He added that the cooperation between China and Russia has become a model of relations between two major powers, characterized by a high degree of mutual trust, the highest level of cooperation, and exceptional strategic significance.

The forum "Sprouts: Russia and China - Mutually Beneficial Cooperation" is taking place in Kazan from August 16 to 19.

The main theme of the Forum is the economic and technological cooperation between the provinces of the two countries.
