ZELENSKY DECORATES MACRON WITH THE ORDER OF FREEDOM

PARIS, JULY 13 /SRNA/ - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky awarded French President Emmanuel Macron the Ukrainian Order of Freedom as a sign of gratitude for their long-standing cooperation and friendship.

The two leaders used their meeting in France for agreements, with the main topic being the defense of Ukraine against ballistic missiles and the strengthening of air defense systems.

An agreement was reached to accelerate European anti-ballistic programs, Ukrinform reported.

The meeting was held ahead of the start of a gathering of the new Anti-Ballistic Coalition and the Coalition of the Willing summit in Paris.

Macron had previously awarded the Ukrainian president France’s highest decoration — the Grand Cross of the Legion of Honour.
