WITKOFF PROPOSES POSSIBLE TRUMP-PUTIN-ZELENSKY MEETING

OSLO, OCTOBER 20 /SRNA/ – US President Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff will propose direct talks involving Russian President Vladimir Putin, Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the Politico website reported.

The proposal for talks among the three leaders on a peace plan was announced at a news conference following a meeting between Zelensky and Witkoff in Norway.

Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store, who hosted the talks, said Witkoff would travel to Russia tomorrow to present peace proposals, including the idea of a trilateral summit.

"We hosted good and constructive talks. Witkoff will travel to St. Petersburg tomorrow, where he will meet with the Russian leadership and exchange proposals and ideas developed by European and American colleagues. This could potentially pave the way for a meeting at the leaders' level," Store said.
