WASHINGTON-TEHRAN TALKS ENTER FINAL PHASE

ISLAMABAD, AUGUST 6 /SRNA–RIA Novosti/ – Negotiations between the United States and Iran have entered their final phase, Saudi television channel Al Hadath reported, citing a senior official.

"The negotiations between the United States and Iran, which are being conducted through third-party mediation, have entered the final phase," the source said.

The official added that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is expected to visit Pakistan over the coming weekend or early next week.

A senior Pakistani source said yesterday that Araghchi is expected to arrive in Pakistan on August 7, where he will be received by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Army Chief Asim Munir, and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.
