MOSCOW, OCTOBER 3 /SRNA/ - The Russian Foreign Ministry has reiterated its warning to foreign nationals and diplomatic mission personnel against traveling to Ukraine or remaining in the country.

The ministry warned foreign nationals and diplomats against staying in Kyiv or remaining in the vicinity of military facilities in Ukraine.

"Russia has previously urged foreign nationals and diplomats in Kyiv to leave the city and refrain from traveling to Ukraine, and advised residents of the country to stay away from military and administrative infrastructure facilities," the statement said.

The statement stressed that foreign nationals and diplomats who have not left Kyiv are knowingly putting their lives at grave risk.

"We note that not everyone has heeded these warnings, and some are knowingly putting their lives at grave risk. The Russian Foreign Ministry reiterates its warning to foreign nationals, including diplomatic mission personnel, against staying in Ukraine or traveling to its territory," the statement said.

The warning to foreign nationals and diplomats to leave Kyiv was included in a Russian Foreign Ministry statement issued on May 25, 2026, as well as in diplomatic notes sent to foreign partners.

Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin reiterated the warning on May 27 during a briefing for the diplomatic corps.
