VENOM BASSIST AND FRONTMAN CONRAD LANT DIES

LONDON, OCTOBER 1 /SRNA/ – Conrad Cronos Lant, frontman and bassist of the British metal band Venom, has died at the age of 63, the band announced on social media.

The announcement included a message from the band’s remaining members, guitarist Rage and drummer Dante, as well as Lant’s son Nathan.

Lant gained recognition through his work on Venom’s first few albums, which helped pave the way for thrash and black metal, the Loudwire website reported.
