VANCE: PUBLICATION OF MEMORANDUM AWAITS FINAL TECHNICAL ARRANGEMENTS

WASHINGTON, JUNE 16 /SRNA-RIA Novosti/ – US Vice President James David Vance said that the US-Iran memorandum of understanding has not yet been published due to certain technical details that still need to be finalized.

"There are some technical details that need to be worked out, not regarding the text of the memorandum itself, but its implementation", Vance said.

He noted that Qatar and Pakistan were of great assistance in mediating the agreement.

US President Donald Trump and Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi confirmed on Sunday that the final text of the memorandum of understanding had been agreed upon.

The document is expected to be officially signed in Switzerland on June 19, after being digitally signed by the two countries on Sunday.
