VANCE: IRAN CONFLICT COST US ELECTION

WASHINGTON, NOVEMBER 4 /SRNA/ – US Vice President JD Vance said the Republican Party lost the midterm elections because of the conflict with Iran.

"The reason we lost is the war, as President Donald Trump himself said last night," Vance posted on X.

Trump said the war with Iran was one of the reasons the Republicans lost, but insisted the conflict was still justified.

Democrats won majorities in both houses of Congress.

They won 229 seats in the House of Representatives to the Republicans' 163, and 54 seats in the Senate to the Republicans' 43.
