TRUMP OPEN TO COOPERATION WITH DEMOCRATS

WASHINGTON, NOVEMBER 4 /SRNA – RIA Novosti/ – US President Donald Trump said on Wednesday he was ready to work with the Democratic Party, which won control of Congress in the elections.

Trump said he was not worried about the possibility of impeachment, but warned that the Democratic Party would fall apart if it launched such proceedings.

"I'll probably get along with the Democrats, unless they want to destroy. They've already called and they want to talk," Trump said.

He insisted that the conflict with Iran had been justified, despite its political consequences.

He also said he had no intention of firing Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, who he said was doing an excellent job.
