UKRAINIAN DRONE HITS BUS, EIGHT INJURED

MOSCOW, JULY 31 /SRNA/ - Eight people were injured when a Ukrainian drone struck a bus travelling on the Krasnodar–Donetsk route in the village of Kuteynikovo in the Donetsk People's Republic, the regional Ministry of Health said.

Russia's Investigative Committee has launched a criminal case on terrorism charges following the Ukrainian attack on the bus.

According to the statement, all the injured are receiving medical assistance, with one person in serious condition and three in moderately serious condition, while the others are receiving outpatient treatment.

Investigators and forensic experts are working at the scene to collect evidence.

Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that those involved in the attack would be held accountable, RIA Novosti reports.

According to her, "playing with fire" in the form of Kyiv's attacks on Russia further worsens the international situation and reduces the prospects for peace and security on the continent.

"The Kyiv regime, supported by Western countries, has intensified attacks on the civilian population of Russia's regions," Zakharova warned.

Russia has called for the immediate condemnation of barbaric attacks by Ukrainian neo-Nazis on civilians and urged countries to distance themselves from military and political support for Kyiv.

Zakharova said that the Ukrainian armed forces were carrying out terrorist attacks in Russian regions with the full approval of Kyiv's Western sponsors.
