MOSCOW, SEPTEMBER 19 /SRNA-RIA Novosti/ – Russian forces struck two cargo ships at sea that were carrying supplies for the Ukrainian armed forces to the port of Odesa, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
The ministry said drone strikes were also carried out against logistics centers and ports in Ukraine, vessels it said were being used in the interests of the Ukrainian armed forces, and transport infrastructure facilities.
It added that a pontoon crossing over the Dniester River, allegedly used to transport military cargo from Romania into Ukraine, was hit overnight.
The Defense Ministry also said a customs and logistics center in the Kyiv region used for storing and distributing military supplies from Europe was struck.
According to the ministry, Russian air defenses intercepted and destroyed 344 Ukrainian drones over Russian regions during the night.
