TRUMP: WE WILL CAST HAMMER AND SICKLE INTO OBLIVION

WASHINGTON, JULY 5 /SRNA–RIA Novosti/ – U.S. President Donald Trump said in his Independence Day address that he was prepared to fight communism, which he characterized as the greatest threat to the American system and way of life.

"The Stars and Stripes has already cast the hammer and sickle into oblivion once before, and if necessary, we will do it again," Trump said during his speech in Washington.

Trump called communism the principal threat to the United States, claiming that he could easily become the greatest communist in history by promising Americans free housing and food, but that such a policy would lead to poverty and the complete collapse of the country.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said that a growing number of Americans are watching with concern as the Democratic Party moves further to the left, toward communism.
