TRUMP: I WOULD BAN SHARIA LAW IN AMERICA

WASHINGTON, AUGUST 26 /SRNA – RIA Novosti/ - US President Donald Trump said he would ban Sharia law in the United States because the country must operate under a single legal system.

“I would absolutely ban everything related to Sharia law,” Trump said.

He stressed that the current US policy is based on common sense, adding that the First Amendment to the US Constitution allows the practice of all religions but prohibits them from interfering with the judicial system.

“We have a great system. Sometimes it is frustrating, but it is the best there is, as far as I can see,” the US president added.
