TEHRAN, JUNE 28 /SRNA/ – Any foreign interference in the situation in the Strait of Hormuz would only further increase tensions and would not contribute to the restoration of navigation, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned.

"Any interference or attempt to establish parallel mechanisms for resolving the situation will only complicate it further, increase tensions and delay the restoration of navigation through this important maritime route," Araghchi said.

He added that the incidents and clashes that occurred in the Strait of Hormuz over the past two nights confirm this.

According to him, navigation through the Strait of Hormuz could return to the level seen before the conflict within 30 days, provided that all existing obstacles are removed and all parties strictly adhere to the memorandum reached between Iran and the United States.
