SUICIDE BOMBER KILLS 14 PEOPLE

PESHAWAR, AUGUST 2 /SRNA/ – A suicide bomber attacked demonstrators at a rally against militants in northwestern Pakistan, killing at least 14 people, including police officers, officials said.

At least 20 others were injured in the attack, the AP reported.

The bombing took place in Kabal, a town in the Swat Valley in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, where demonstrators had gathered near a police station, chanting slogans against militants and calling for peace.
