MOSCOW, AUGUST 5 /SRNA–RIA Novosti/ – The number of Ukrainian drones flying toward Moscow has increased in recent months, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin said.
"Two-thirds of all attacks carried out each day are directed at Moscow," Sobyanin said in an interview with TASS.
He added that, on the instructions of President Vladimir Putin, the Moscow city administration is cooperating with the Russian Ministry of Defence and the country's air defence forces to protect the capital.
Sobyanin noted that interceptor drones designed to defend against unmanned aerial vehicles are being produced in Moscow.
He also said that the capital is sharing its experience with other Russian regions in developing comprehensive drone defence plans.
