SAINT PETERSBURG, JULY 24 /SRNA/ - Ukrainian drones attacked Saint Petersburg, targeting civilian infrastructure on the Moskow Highway, Governor Alexander Beglov said.
Beglov said that Russian air defence systems are active.
Operations at logistics centres and warehouses of Russia's largest online marketplace, Wildberries, have been suspended.
Meanwhile, Leningrad Region Governor Alexander Drozdenko said that 59 Ukrainian drones were destroyed overnight, but that three people were injured in a drone attack on a warehouse belonging to the Wildberries platform in the village of Novosaratovka.
"As a result of the drone attack, a fire broke out at the Wildberries warehouse. Three people were injured, and their condition is stable," Drozdenko wrote on social media.
He added that a drone also struck a poultry farm warehouse in the Leningrad Region, causing it to collapse, but no one was injured.
