RADEV: SENDING LONG-RANGE WEAPONS TO HIT DEEP IN RUSSIA RECKLESS

SOFIA, SEPTEMBER 4 /SRNA - RIA Novosti/ - Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev accused European countries on Friday of recklessly supplying Ukraine with weapons that can strike deep into Russia.

"Isn't it a reckless act for leading European countries to send their long-range weapons, to attack thousands of kilometres deep into Russian territory – with weapons manufactured in Europe, with their use through information from Europe and instructors from Europe?" Radev asked in Bulgarian Parliament.

Radev stated that the longer the conflict in Ukraine lasts, the higher the risk of it spilling over into other countries.

He called for a sober assessment of the risks of continuing weapon supplies to Kiev.

"Let us judge for ourselves, let us not close our eyes. And what can we expect when our long-range weapons are used to attack deep in the rear of another country? Will it stand by or respond? That is the big question," Radev concluded.
