PUTIN: RUSSIAN OIL SUPPLIES CAN HELP GLOBAL ECONOMY

MOSCOW, OCTOBER 9 /SRNA-RIA Novosti/ - Russia is ready to supply oil and petroleum products to the US and global markets, which will have a positive impact on the world economy, Russian President Vladimir Putin said after a phone call with US President Donald Trump.

Putin said he was confident that Russian oil supplies to the US and global markets would have a positive effect on the global economy as a whole.

The Kremlin said Putin and Trump had spoken by phone and devoted considerable attention to possible ways of resolving the conflict in Ukraine.

They also discussed the situation involving Iran and various aspects of bilateral relations.

The statement added that the two presidents agreed to continue direct contacts and cooperation between the relevant agencies.
