NETHERLANDS WILL NOT PARTICIPATE IN NEXT YEAR'S EUROVISION SONG CONTEST

AMSTERDAM, OCTOBER 27 /SRNA/ - The Netherlands will not participate in next year's Eurovision song contest, as no broadcaster is willing to take responsibility for a Dutch representative, given Israel's participation, the media association NPO announced.

Last month, the association expressed confidence that the Netherlands would take part in the contest. However, no media organization is willing to support the participation of a Dutch representative.

Along with Ireland, Iceland, Spain, and Slovenia, the Netherlands boycotted this year's contest due to Israel's participation and the Israeli military offensive in Gaza.
