MOVEMENT RESTRICTIONS IMPOSED FOR EMPLOYEES AT U.S. EMBASSY IN ISRAEL

TEL AVIV, JUNE 10 /SRNA/ - The US Embassy in Israel announced that it has imposed movement restrictions for employees on Israeli territory, due to the escalation of the conflict in the Middle East.

The Embassy states that employees are prohibited from visiting areas in Israel that border Lebanon, Egypt and the Gaza Strip, as well as from traveling to most areas on the West Bank of the Jordan River.

The US Central Command announced earlier that US forces have launched attacks on Iran in response to the attack on an Apache helicopter over the Strait of Hormuz. Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps responded with strikes on US bases in the Middle East.
