WASHINGTON, OCTOBER 10 /SRNA/ – More than 750,000 customers in the US states of Alabama and Florida have been left without electricity due to Isaías Hurricane, according to data from the PowerOutage electricity outage monitoring service.
Late last night, the US National Hurricane Center /NHC/ announced that Isaías had reached Florida with maximum wind gusts of 169 kilometres per hour.
So far, 441,088 customers in Florida and 312,379 in Alabama have lost power.
More than 840,000 people across the United States have been left without electricity.
The international internet monitoring service NetBlocks also reported that internet connectivity had been disrupted in several parts of Florida due to the hurricane.
