MOSCOW, OCTOBER 16 /SRNA/ - US President Donald Trump sees Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as an obstacle to peace and a threat to American interests after the Ukrainian leader "bit the hand that feeds him", Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev said.
"His former master sees the 'Person of the Year' and the 'new Churchill' as an obstacle to peace and US interests because he has bitten the hand that feeds him to the point of drawing blood," Medvedev wrote on the Max platform.
Medvedev noted that Europeans were meanwhile trying to persuade Zelenskyy to be more patient and wait for "the defeat of the Republicans in the US congressional elections" in November.
Trump told Newsmax yesterday that he was "not a big fan of Zelenskyy", who does not want a solution to be found to the conflict in Ukraine.
