LONDON, JUNE 15 /SRNA/ - Access to social media for under-16s in the United Kingdom will be banned from spring next year, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced.
He said at a press conference that he had not made the decision easily, but that IT was clear to him that it was the right move, TASS reported.
Starmer stressed that social media is designed to be addictive and "make children unhappy," as it enables bullying and harassment, which can endanger children's mental health.
