LONDON, MAY 11 /SRNA - RIA Novosti/ - The United Kingdom has imposed restrictions on additional 85 individuals and organizations as part of its ongoing sanctions campaign against Russia, the UK Treasury said.

"85 new designations added under the Russia sanctions regime," the statement read.

According to the document, the UK has imposed sanctions on Vladislav Golovin, chief of staff of the Yunarmiya youth movement, ANO Dialog CEO Vladimir Tabak, as well as non-profit organization Institute for Internet Development, the Center for Military-Sports Training and Patriotic Upbringing of the Youth Warrior, and Sevastopol State University.

Russia has repeatedly stated that it will cope with the sanctions pressure that the West has been intensifying over recent years. Russian authorities have noted that Western countries lack the courage to admit that their anti-Russian measures have failed. Within Western countries themselves, opinions have frequently been voiced that anti-Russian sanctions are ineffective.
