LAVROV: IF EUROPE ATTACKS US, WAR WILL BE SHORT

YEKATERINBURG, SEPTEMBER 16 /SRNA - RIA Novosti/ - If Europe attacks Russia, the war will be short, as Russian President Vladimir Putin warned earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.

Speaking at the International Youth Festival in Yekaterinburg, he stressed that Russia has no intention of attacking Europe.

"I want to stress that we are not interested in taking part in this, but if Europe, which speaks on a daily basis about preparing for war with Russia, attacks the Russian Federation, it will be a completely different and very short war," Lavrov said.

He expressed hope that Europe has already heard the warnings from Moscow.
