ISRAELI ARMY CARRIES OUT STRIKE IN SOUTHERN LEBANON

JERUSALEM, SEPTEMBER 6 /SRNA-Reuters/ — The Israeli military said it launched a strike in southern Lebanon early this morning in response to Hezbollah launching two drones at Israeli soldiers stationed in an area designated as a security zone.

The Israeli military issued an evacuation warning for an area near a building in the town of Arab Salim, saying the building would be struck because it was being used by Hezbollah.

The Iran-backed militant group has not yet commented on the incident.

The Israeli military said yesterday that it had struck weapons storage facilities intended for Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.

More than 4,300 people have been killed in Israeli strikes in Lebanon since March 2.
