GROSSI CALLS FOR AN END TO ATTACKS ON NUCLEAR FACILITIES

ZAPORIZHZHIA, OCTOBER 3 /SRNA – RIA Novosti/ - International Atomic Energy Agency /IAEA/ Director General Rafael Grossi has called for an end to attacks that threaten nuclear safety at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, the IAEA said.

"Director General Grossi says that attacks that threaten nuclear safety remain completely unacceptable and must stop immediately," the IAEA said in a statement on X.

The statement added that Grossi warned that all parties must exercise maximum military restraint in the vicinity of such facilities and their energy infrastructure to prevent the risk of a nuclear accident during the conflict.
