KYIV, JULY 14 /SRNA/ - A fire has broken out again in Chornobyl, the Ukrainian State Emergency Service said.
"The firefighting operation is continuing in the exclusion zone around Chernobyl," the Ukrainian service said on Telegram.
Fires broke out in the Chornobyl exclusion zone at the end of June. Dense smog was reported in Kyiv afterwards. The firefighting operation lasted two weeks.
The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Service recorded high levels of air pollution in the region.
TASS recalls that a fire tornado was observed in the exclusion zone at the beginning of July.
