EBOLA DEATH TOLL EXCEEDS 960

KINSHASA, JULY 21 /SRNA - RIA Novosti/ - The number of deaths from Ebola in Congo has risen to 967, the Congolese Ministry of Communications and Media announced.

The statement said that a total of 2,423 Ebola cases have been registered so far.

According to official data, a total of 734 people have been hospitalized, and 469 have recovered.

The mortality rate is 39.9 percent.
