DEEP UKRAINIAN STRIKES WILL NOT BRING PEACE

NEW YORK, JULY 9 /SRNA/ – Ukrainian strikes deep inside Russian territory will not bring peace but will instead lead to further escalation, destruction and loss of life, Russia's Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations Anna Yevstigneyeva said.

"We also hear Kyiv's Western backers, while hiding behind the rhetoric of peace, encouraging strikes deep inside Russian territory. They claim this will help end the war. Escalation will not bring peace," Yevstigneyeva told the UN Security Council.

She added that Russia would continue working to achieve all the objectives of its special military operation.
