MOSCOW, OCTOBER 6 /SRNA – RIA Novosti/ - The death toll from one of the largest Ukrainian drone attacks on the Moscow region has risen to two, with nine people injured, Governor Andrei Vorobyov said.
The governor said Russian air defense systems destroyed 185 drones over the Moscow region in 16 municipalities overnight.
"Forty-seven private properties were damaged in seven municipalities during the attack," Vorobyov added.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that 39 drones were destroyed while flying toward the Russian capital and that emergency response teams were working at the sites where debris had fallen.
Meanwhile, Bryansk Region Governor Yegor Kovalyuk said that more than 500 Ukrainian drones had been destroyed over the region.
Thirty-two Ukrainian drones were destroyed over Russia’s Tula Region overnight, Governor Dmitry Milyaev said.
